A Brief Hiatus
Expectations up, energy down
As you may have noticed, Gentle Creative has gone quiet.
My fatigue has been a little worse of late and at the end of January I took the decision to pause my Gentle Creative activities for a few weeks and just concentrate on my novel writing. As it turned out, I haven’t worked on the novel much either. But I’ve had a wonderful time in play and self-nurturing mode!
If you’re a paid subscriber, I paused subscriptions as at 31st January so that you won’t be charged for this time.
Despite a slight worsening of my physical symptoms, there is a lot of stuff quietly and profoundly bubbling away that is contributing towards my recovery. And no doubt I will write about that at some point in the future.
At the beginning of the year, I did a course about healing the body with self-love. I talked about this in my January GC Insider email which usually just goes out to paid subscribers. However, I’ve just removed the paywall on that article so if you’re curious about the course, you can read about it by clicking here.
Keep plodding gently with your creative work. I miss writing to you every week. However, there are other brilliant Substacks that give writing advice and encouragement.
