Shiny idea syndrome
Are you someone who abandons one writing project because a shiny new and exciting idea just flitted through your mind? Usually the advice is to resist this and just keep plodding to complete the current project.
However, Todd Brison at
says otherwise. In his words:“You see, unlike the hoards of writers who curse their distracted minds, I’ve decided that Shiny New Idea Syndrome is a gift to writers. In fact, I’d go so far as to say it’s inherent to the creative mind.”
