Ah, thank you for this (and sorry about Covid and months of fatigue, hope you are getting better). I actually know this is true. I was able to change my work from 5 days/week to 4 (I am so grateful for this privilege) but I 100% knew I needed to deal with the extreme burnout I was facing and the death of my mother before I was really going to get more time to write. Still, sometimes I will be a little hard on myself thinking I "should" be getting more done. Shoulding on myself is never helpful! I dream of being free of the corporate grind (and am quick to say to the universe not at the expense of health or finances which would just add stress!) but I also know, really, I probably wouldn't create a lot more. When I feel like I would create more, that might be the time!

It's like you have a window into my mind! I've often fantasized about writing full time but know the reality would probably be very arduous. Though I'd love to try out a trial run with a sabbatical one day. While the amount that I write might not increase dramatically, it would be nice to have that extra time to read more, both for writing projects and for pleasure.
