This analogy really resonated with me. Creating is ultimately endless seeking paired with the ability to recognize the worthwhile fragments one stumbles upon.

Glad that you liked it Emily. The analogy is really helping me with my current WIP. I just have to keep digging!

Hey, Cali.

After mulling it over a bit, I decided to end Pandemonium WIP, even though there was a ton of story left, because each of the POV characters had gone through an emotional/cathartic climax and were preparing for the next part of their journey.

I also edited/rewrote another WIP I wrote years ago. While it still needs a ton of TLC, I’m happy with how it’s shaping up.

I then outlined another book, and will bounce between the three.

It’s been a busy month so far.

Good luck with your WIP and have a great weekend.

Hi Tyerone. That's a brave decision to move on from Pandemonium. Well done for making it. And it might be something you can come back to in the future like the other WIP. I do think there's a time for everything and some things need to marinade quietly for a while. Tales of the Countess sat in the drawer for 9 years because after many years of working on it, I ran out of steam. In that time I kept learning and trying new things out. When I went back to it I was ready for action, and less emotionally attached to it so I could see much clearer what need to be done. You have a good weekend too x
