I don't have any physical issues but even I have been sleeping 12hrs+ these days. It's in the air. We are all recalibrating so we can build a better world. That takes enormous energy.The overwhelming advice I'm getting these days is to put down the productivity ideas. We accomplish a lot by giving ourselves what need.

One of my favourite quotes by Daisaku Ikeda - โ€œRest is part of the fight.โ€ Ever since I saw it that way, I was protected against easily falling prey to negative guilt. An aunt also told me once โ€œthe field must also lie fallow for a good harvestโ€. Hope you return with twice the energy, Cali.

Good to hear that you gave yourself permission to be kind to yourself. Giving myself permission has become my new task - to be curious, to forgive, to take some time off when necessary.

I've been getting this message a lot lately that it's a good time to be gentle and dive within, think about what it is I really like about writing, in writing, and what my overall purpose is in the writing world.
