Hi Cali,

Your honesty is quite humanising for us all. We can hear your love and the fear.

I don't think you should worry about what clothes you buy for Graham, he won't at this time.

You are going through awful times.

Just getting out of bed to deal with it, is brave and strong. Big hugs. Xx

Hi Cali, Writing - like you did in this article is a life saver for me. It gets the grief and resentment out to a degree, and gives my brain the space to think of new ideas. I write parts of articles and keep them as drafts on Substack - then edit or delete them. It's my way of getting past the feelings of the moment. So, maybe your writing schedule has to be a bit lighter for the time being, but for you and your health, I appreciate your willingness to share this most painful journey with us. Take care.

Thanks Janice. I am finding it useful to share here. I like writing about what is going on, and how I'm dealing with it, even though it is so difficult. You keep writing too. I feel like your articles are written for me at the moment. They are so useful. Thank you x

Sending you so much love and kindness. These challenges are very real and very hard and affect us in so many different ways, especially as creatives, and it's really an annoying truism of life that "the only way out is through." I am so sorry that you're in the thick of it. I'm so glad that it sounds like you have a lot of support. And I appreciate your openness here. <3 <3

I like that saying "the only way out is through." I thought about it this week and it is a good reminder. Thank you for your encouragement x

I think you did a great job of squeezing some creativity into a very stressful month. I hope you and Graham can settle into a new normal that is not too overwhelming.

I’d like to tell you what I hope is a little good news.

I write reports for a CASE MANAGEMENT company whose clients all have traumatic brain injuries due to auto accidents.

Case Management services are 100% paid for by the auto insurance covering damages companies. All of the clients I write reports for have lifetime disabilities.

Case Managers coordinate care for their clients. This includes most (if not all) of the concerns you listed.

Feel free to email me anytime.

My dear husband died 5 1/2 years ago from Lewy Body Dementia. He was ill for several years. So, much of what you shared resonates with me.

Thanks Linda. Sadly Graham's accident was not a car accident. However, I am looking into making a personal injury claim. And thank you for sharing about your husband. Life certainly has it's tough moments and I am not alone in having to deal with this.
